Super 8 Hotel
11/24/2008Nothing to see here. room in good condition, rates very nice, staff pleasant, hotel well kept and surprisingly quiet being so near a busy highway.

We were just traveling through Terre Haute, staying only for the night. We reserved a non-smoking room but it was obvious prior guests had smoked in the room. We had arrived very late at night and were too tired to request a change of rooms. I complained to the manager in the morning that the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and it was hard to breathe. The bed was very lumpy, too. The manager seemed indifferent to the complaints.
We will not stay at this motel again. -

Very disappointed with the room - not on par with other Super 8 Motels that I have stayed in. Carpets in halls and room were stained and dirty. The first thing I had to do when entering the room is open the window because the room smelled very musty. The toilet ran constantly and the sink drained very slowly. Continental breakfast served did not look very appetizing - I'd go the Bob Evans next door for breakfast. The bed was quite comfortable however. The motel needs a serious makeover.

Our extended family has become too large to stay overnight with family, so we come together and stay in hotel and spend the day at my brothers house. We do not need entertainment or fancy. For our needs, this was perfect. The only suggestion, every room did not have a sitting chair. Two straight back desk type chair and one room had stuffed chair and foot stool.

We attended a family reunion in the area and booked 6 rooms here including the only 2 handicap accessable rooms they have. Everyone enjoyed their clean, comfortable rooms although would have been nice to all be on same floor. Location is close to good choices for food.
